This course is the most comprehensive first aid course for the workplace. It covers a wide range of CPR and first aid skills and equips first aiders with the ability to apply first aid to a range of specific injuries and illnesses. The course is suitable for all industries and enables employers to meet HSE requirements. On completion of this course, candidates receive a Level 3 First Aid at Work Qualification. The First Aid at Work is endorsed by CIMSPA which means that training has been quality assured by CIMSPA and is delivered by a CIMSPA education partner.
The Level 3 First Aid at Work Qualification covers a wide range of CPR and first aid skills, equipping the first-aider to apply first aid to a range of specific injuries and illnesses.
This three-day course covers a range of CPR and first aid skills, providing you with the skills to ensure a safe working environment.
The qualification is Ofqual accredited and valid for three years, making it suitable for all industries and enabling you to meet HSE requirements.
The First Aid at Work course is 18 hours and can be delivered over three consecutive days or can be split into smaller sessions and delivered over a 10 week period from the start of the course.
The course comprises practical work and theoretical classroom work, as well as a practical assessment on CPR and first aid.
Candidates must be a minimum of 16-years-old at the time of taking the assessment. No prior first aid knowledge is required.

First Aid at Work is Trainer assessed throughout the course and the assessment should determine a learner’s ability to act safely, promptly and effectively when an emergency occurs at work and to deal with a casualty. All Assessment Criteria in the units must be achieved.
To re-qualify learners must be assessed against all learning outcomes and assessment criteria in the unit. The delivery time can be adjusted based on current HSE guidance for requalification (2 days). It is considered appropriate to reduce the time by 6 hours for re-qualification to 12 hours.
